The season of gratitude officially kicked off early for the Helping Hearts Foundation! Just a few days before Thanksgiving, our team and volunteers hit the streets of New Orleans to host our annual pre-holiday giveback, ensuring our neighbors had a warm meal and a moment of connection.
A Mission to Serve
This year, our mission was to bring the spirit of Thanksgiving directly to those who needed it most: homeless individuals and families struggling with food insecurity across the city. The response from our volunteers and community partners was overwhelming, allowing us to exceed our goal. We were incredibly proud to serve over 80 individuals and families altogether, providing a full, nourishing meal that offered comfort. More than just food, we shared warmth, smiles, and the fundamental belief that everyone deserves dignity and kindness, especially during the holidays.
Thank You to Our Volunteers and Donors
This event would not have been possible without the tireless effort of our dedicated Helping Hearts Foundation volunteers who spent hours planning, preparing, and distributing the meals. Your commitment embodies the true meaning of community.
We also extend our deepest gratitude to every donor and partner who contributed financially or with supplies. Your generosity is the engine that keeps our mission running.
