There is something truly special about what happens when a community decides to move together—not just for fitness, but for a greater purpose. This holiday season, the Helping Hearts Foundation teamed up with the Boring Run Club for our annual Toy Drive, and the results were nothing short of incredible.
Because of your generosity, we were able to fill trunks, bins, and hearts with gifts that will make a lasting impact on children across our community.
Making an Impact Where It Matters Most
Our goal was to ensure that the joy of the holidays reached as many children as possible. Thanks to the overwhelming number of donations, we were able to support several vital causes:
Manning’s Children’s Hospital: Bringing smiles and holiday cheer to brave kids during their hospital stays.
One Heart NOLA: Providing essential personal items and support for children in need, ensuring they feel seen and cared for.
Foster Care Support: Delivering toys to children impacted by the foster care system, giving them a sense of excitement this season.

A Huge Thank You to Our Local Partners
An initiative like this takes a village. We want to extend a massive thank you to the local businesses that stepped up to serve as toy drop-off locations. Your support made it easy for the community to give back, and we couldn't have done it without you:

More Than Just a Run
Looking at the photos from our event at the peristyle, it’s clear that this was about more than just miles. It was about connection. Whether you dropped off a toy at a local business, ran with us, or helped us sort through the mountain of donations, you made this possible.
We are so proud of what we accomplished together. Thank you for showing that when we run with heart, we can change lives.
